Each part will carry approximately equal weight in the final grade.
That is, 1/4 for each exam, 1/4 for the sum of the homework, and
1/4 for the presentation.
The presentation will be on a topic of your choosing, in consultation with me. I will provide a list of possible topics, though you need not restrict yourself to this list. It will be your responsibility to research your chosen topic and report something cogent about the current state of knowledge on this subject to the class in a 20 minute presentation.
